How to Manage Your Web Form Drafts
Welcome to our guide on how to manage your Web Form drafts. The Web Form Planner tool offers a comprehensive view of all your draft Web Forms, allowing you to manage them more effectively in one centralised location. This guide will walk you through the key features and functionalities of your Web Form Drafts, helping you streamline your workflow management process.
To get started, navigate to the “Website’ > ‘Forms’ tab and select the “Planner” option. The planner provides a detailed overview of all your draft Web Forms, including the Web Form details, previews, and management options.
First, you will see the Web Form details, where you can get a quick snapshot of all your draft Web Forms, including the Web Form name and the date it was created. Next, you can view a preview, which gives you a snapshot of how the Web Form looks and the elements it includes.
You also have the option to reassign the Web Form to a different owner using the "Assign To" dropdown menu. The status feature allows you to control the Web Form’s progress through different stages before launching. This feature works in conjunction with the owner, sending notifications if a workflow requires approval, needs edits, or is approved.
To start customising your Web Form use the "Edit" option, which takes you directly to the Web Form builder where you can add, edit, or remove elements as needed.
For additional actions, click the ellipsis icon. This opens up options such as editing the Web Form’s name and description through the "Edit Details" option, deleting the Web Form if it's no longer required, or archiving it to keep an updated view of your active Web Forms. Archiving hides the Web Form from the list but it can be found again by adjusting the filters. You can also use the "Duplicate" option to quickly create a copied version of your Web Form in the builder, including all elements and settings.
The Web Form Draft area also allows you to leave comments on the progress of your web form creation, which is useful for collaborating with other team members on updates and changes. To add comments, simply click the comment icon and type your notes into the provided box. All users with access to this section will be able to see the comments associated with the web form.
Lastly, the planner includes a filtering option. You can toggle the filters on to switch between different statuses, owners, and creation dates, making it easier to find and manage your workflows.
With the Web Form Planner, managing your web forms becomes efficient and organised, enhancing your ability to collaborate, customise, and control your workflows effectively.
