How to Setup your Channel Tracking
Setting up your Channel Tracking is essential for monitoring the performance of your owned, earned, and paid media channels. By activating channel tracking, you can gain insights into how different channels contribute to your overall marketing efforts, enabling you to optimise your strategies and enhance your campaign effectiveness.
This guide will walk you through the steps to activate and manage tracking for all the channels you wish to monitor, helping you to measure and analyse the impact of your media channels on your marketing objectives.
Getting Started with Setting up your Channel Tracking:
To get started, navigate to “Settings,” and select “Campaign Settings”.
Here you can activate all the channels you would like to track. We have categorised them as Owned, Earned and Paid.
From here you can deactivate / activate the channels that you wish to use in your marketing campaigns. Choosing these channels will change the channels you see in your campaigns > publish area.
You can add your own custom channels to any of the columns by clicking the “Add Custom Channel” button at the top of the page or the bottom of each column and simply completing the fields in the pop-up as shown.
You can manage your custom channels by using the icons provide
- Selecting the edit tool will provide a pop up to customise the channel.
- Selecting the delete tool will remove this specific channel from your settings.
