How to Setup up Templates
Templates are essential tools for sales activities, providing standardised formats for emails, calls, phone interactions, and other engagements to ensure consistent messaging across team members and streamline follow-up processes with prospects.
Getting Started with your Templates:
To start managing your templates, navigate to “Settings” and select “Templates & Documents.”
Here, you will find all the templates you have created, along with a quick filter to choose between the available options.
To use the filter, simply click on the desired type, and all the corresponding templates will be displayed.
To begin adding templates, click the “Add New Template” button in the top right corner. A pop-up window will appear, allowing you to enter the details of your new template.
Building your Templates:
First, select the type of template you want to create, corresponding to the activity types within the CRM. For example, if you're creating an email activity type, you will have "Email Templates" available to choose from.
Next, you will see the "Title" field, which is used to help you identify the purpose of this specific template.
If you select "Email" as the template type, an additional "Subject" field will appear. This field will be used as the subject line when sending the email template.
Lastly, you will find the “Message” field. This is the main section of your template where you can input the email message, LinkedIn message, or call script.
A text box is provided for you to manually enter your content or copy and paste existing text.
At the bottom of the pop-up, you will see “Personalisation Tokens.” These allow you to add customisation and personalisation to your templates, with options including Contact and Company Properties, as well as base properties like your company name and your own username.
Once you are happy with your template, simply click the save button.
Managing your Templates:
Once your templates are created, you will have a couple options to manage them:
- Preview: This option provides a pop-up preview of your template.
- Manage: This allows you to quickly edit or delete your templates.
